Provence Rugs

This luxurious métis sheet (combination of linen and cotton) is a exquisite piece of handwork. These sheets were typically made in France for a young girl's wedding trousseau. This one features not only an incredibly intricate center monogram but embroidery on each corner mimicking the central them. This sheet also features two rows of openwork which continues down the side of the sheet (the return). This sheet still retains it's rarely used ecru color but will whiten with washings. No stains or holes that we can find.

Measures: 90"x117" (231cmx298cm). Will work for both Full and Queen sized beds. Plenty of length for a large fold back at the top.

Monogram measures 7'x7 1/4" (18cm x 18.5 cm)

Care: We recommend machine wash on delicate at a temperature of 100 degrees (40 degrees C) with normal laundry soap, although we use Savon de Marseille, which is available on our site. Use white vinegar in the rinse cycle to eliminate traces of soap and hang dry in the sun.
